Terms & Conditions 

  • The minimum account balance is $2,500.

  • Members will be required to maintain a tiered minimum balance of $2,500, $10,000, $30,000, $50,000 to receive the interest rate associated with each band.

  • Should the account balance fall below the stated minimum balance for each tier, the interest rate will default to the stated interest rate associated with the lower tier, which best corresponds to the current account balance.

  • Should the account total fall below $2500 (lowest tier), the interest rate will default to the current rate for the SMART Builder savings plan.

  • Should the account balance increase and fall into a new tier, the higher interest rate will be applied accordingly.

  • Members will be allowed one free withdrawal per year, following which a $50 withdrawal fee will be applied. 

  • Online banking access will be limited to deposits only. Members will be unable to withdraw funds through the online platform.

  • Interest will be paid quarterly, and members will receive interest rates for each tiered minimum balance, guaranteed for at least 1 year.
